CHUK Surgical outreach program turning more and more to sub-specialties
When it comes to reveal the goodness of surgical outreach program the last five years at The University Teaching hospital of Kigali, it started with general surgery and orthopedic surgery and extended progressively to diverse sub-specialties including Urology: In surgical outreach at least 7 to 10 patients are treated at daily basis from Urethral stenosis and PPV Congenital Hydro seal especially for children , Hernia Undescendent testis but also for sexagenarians the treatment of prostate cancer is frequent what has been the success story; screening all the cases and prepare adequate materials for surgical outreach is more and more improving the diagnosis protocol and urology therapeutics maximized.
